I’m Carl Whitehouse, a documentary and travel photographer based in Sheffield. My journey into photography began as a way to make sense of the world around me. From capturing the essence of a place to documenting social issues, photography has become a part of who I am.
I’m also a full-time dad, and my family plays a big role in my life and work. Our shared experiences, especially through travel, continue to inspire much of what I do.
You might have seen my work online under the name “@casablancafoto,” a nod to a nickname I picked up during my travels in my 20s. It’s a reminder of the adventures that have shaped my perspective and my work.
